Dr. Alexander Bey
Alexander Bey was born in Bonn, Germany, on April 2, 1962. After studying law, he worked as an assistant at the Universities of Cologne, Witten-Herdecke and Bonn. He then worked as a trainee lawyer before obtaining his doctorate. Bey then practiced law for several years in the Düsseldorf office of a major international law firm and, subsequently, was a judge in the German state of Hessen.
Alexander Bey’s career at Bayer AG began in 1997, initially in the field of environmental law. He was then given responsibility for Chemical Park projects, legal projects in China and the then Pharmaceuticals Business Unit, and was appointed to the Pharma Executive Committee in 2000.
Alexander Bey is married and has three children.
