Dr. Jean-Luc Lowinski
Dr. Jean-Luc Lowinski has been a member of the Bayer HealthCare Executive Committee and responsible for the Animal Health Division since November 1, 2010.

Jean-Luc Lowinski was born in Paris, France, on November 25, 1964. He studied veterinary medicine at the renowned Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort and received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Nantes in 1992. He concluded his management studies at the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD), Fontainebleau, France, with an MBA in 1991.

Lowinski began his career in the field force of Bayer Pharma’s sales organization in Germany in 1992. After working as a product manager, from 1994 onwards Lowinski was appointed to various managerial positions with growing authority in the Pharma and Consumer Care divisions in South Korea, Singapore and India. He was Managing Director of Bayer HealthCare in China from 2003 to 2004.
Thereafter he was appointed Head of the Bayer HealthCare Region Asia/Pacific before taking over the pharmaceuticals business in Japan in 2007 as Head of Bayer Yakuhin. Jean-Luc Lowinski was responsible for Bayer HealthCare in Japan since January 2010.

Jean-Luc Lowinski is married and has two children.
