Oliver Renner

Oliver Renner has been a member of the Bayer HealthCare Executive Committee and responsible for Global Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at Bayer HealthCare since July 1, 2011. In this capacity, he is responsible for the areas of Global Product Communications, Governmental Affairs, Media Relations, Scientific Communications and Internal Communications for Bayer HealthCare and its various divisions.

He began his career in industry in the Crop Protection department of the former Hoechst AG, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility and was ultimately in charge of the Management Board Administrative Office of Hoechst Schering AgrEvo GmbH before it became part of Aventis CropScience. In 1999, Renner joined the former Schering AG as Head of Corporate Business and Financial Communication.

Following the acquisition of Schering AG by Bayer AG in 2006, Renner was in charge of Global Public Relations & Public Affairs for the pharmaceuticals business of Bayer HealthCare.
